Our Story
It begins in Akobima and with a belief that potential is everywhere, even where opportunity is not.
Our StoryA bold idea, born of a simple conviction.
In 2022, we conceived a bold idea: to establish the first all-women’s college, NKAE University, in Ghana, expanding women’s access to quality liberal-arts higher education with a focus on STEM and leadership development. At its inception, NKAE is poised to prepare women to generate bright ideas, take bold initiatives, and leverage confidence and community connections for career readiness.
To get started, in 2025, we launched an ambitious digital literacy program in Akobima, a small village in the Central Region of Ghana. Our goal was to close the wide gulf in educational resources, technology, and ICT practice at the K–8 level in rural and less-endowed schools.

Our leaders are currently in our midst. In today’s fast-paced digital and AI fueled society, we believe with the appropriate resources and intentionally targeted training, we can prepare our students in rural communities to flourish and succeed through digital equity.
Through digital equity in rural community schools and gender-parity advancement through NKAE University, we are building a cadre of today’s leaders, igniting vibrant but untapped ingenuity to realise Ghana’s human capital to its fullest.
